Vehicles are connected with the world of internet of the things (IoT), which enables us to use new functions within the vehicle. However, to be usable in the mobility world, the vehicle systems must face several tough challenges in security and privacy.

Protection of vehicle systems or functions from the damage to or theft of their hardware, software, or electronic data, as well as from the disruption or misdirection of the services they provide (Cyber Security, e.g. ISO21434).
Protection of personal data against illegal (unauthorized by user) collecting, processing, storing, and moving (Privacy, e.g. EU-GDPR (2016/2018)).
