We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the UK Interior Segment based in our Lichfield Office.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Central Segment BD, Project Management and Sales teams playing a pivotal role in guiding the customer through the quotation process. A strong passion for technology is essential as the selected individual will serve as the primary liaison for addressing all technical inquiries from the customer during the acquisition phase. A proactive, self-motivated approach is highly desirable, as the role offers autonomy in shaping both the Business Development Manager role and strategy within the UK market.

Your Tasks

• Coordination with Technology Leaders: Build relationships with the Interior Segment Business Centres to understand key technologies and services that can be offered to customers
• Customer Development Planning: Work closely with the BSI UK leadership, Sales and Project Management teams to identify and analyse new and existing customers (due diligence including company size, financial stability, key technologies, etc.) within the UK market and develop appropriate strategies for approaching them.
• BSI UK Strategy: Leveraging customer and market insights to help shape the UK team’s strategy and long-term vision.
• Stakeholder Management: Initiate and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders to ensure that opportunities are brought to the business and deliver clear, concise information to both internal and external teams.
• Quote Support: support the quote management team (Project Management, Sales, Quality, Engineering) and drive the quote process to respond accurately, timely and competitively to customer requests.
• Brand advocate: educate and inform customers of the competencies, experience and portfolio offered by CES (both locally and globally)

Your Profile

• Previous experience in Business Development/Management, Sales, Marketing and/or Technical Engineering
• Good technical knowledge of electronics development and deployment of software, ideally in an automotive environment
• Entrepreneurial capabilities and interest
• Excellent communication skills, strong customer orientation and ability to motivate people
• Good knowledge of MS Office Tools, MS Project, SAP or similar
• Willingness and ability to travel (both UK and EU)
• German speaking would be advantageous
• Full UK driving license required for the position

• Periodically reports to Logistic Leader in FF (scrap reports, production level reports, calculates the productivity and quality percent for employee salary raise etc)

As Testing Bench Manager & Test Engineer, you define and agree with the stakeholders (Customer and Continental) all the project system related requirements ensuring full understanding, development coverage and traceability according to Customer and continental processes and tools.

He/she Is responsible for developing testbenchs, analyze test specifications, execute test, and evaluating tests results; all in order to verify that the system fulfils the allocated requirements (Internal and Customer related).

Requirements and Test bench Manager has to follow:

• Requirement management, processes and tools
• SiL  (Software in the Loop): Test of functionality of single software components or the complete software system
• HiL (Hardware in the Loop): Test of functionality of the complete software focusing on the interaction between software and hardware.
• Vehicle Modelling, Systems modelling in order to guarantee the Close loop testing (As on a real vehicle)
• Vehicle Modelling Validation

Your Tasks

• Develop, enhance and maintain test tools & Tests Bench according to Project and Stakeholders needs
• Define/Develop/consolidate test environments (SIL, HIL, VEH)
• Create passive vehicle models
• Create Active vehicle models: modelling all the vehicle components/nodes (into virtual ECU and actuators) interfacing with the HW under tests to create a Bench test environment closed loop representing the real vehicle
• Create and maintain a methodology to update vehicle models according to the project requirements emission/Status (Active Vehicle) and according to the passive vehicle development status
• Validate vehicle models (Active and passive)
• Ensure the Maintenance of the Benches needed (HIL, SIL, Customer Bench) according to stakeholders needs
• Bus communication set-up between model signals and ECU or between two different ECUs (the ECUs could be either physical or simulated depending on the system requirements);
• CarMaker scenarios definition and/or adaption depending on desired requirements.

• Support to create a flexible architecture to ensure the SIL/MIL/HIL closed loop simulation on OEM & Conti Test benches.

Your Tasks

• Italian Customer Liaison working in multidisciplinary European Teams for RFI/RFQ replies, managing Purchase Orders, aligning Terms & Conditions and Non-Disclosure Agreements
