For the Comfort & Connected Functions division within Continental Engineering Services, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager for Embedded Software (m/f/diverse) to start as soon as possible.
In this position you will be responsible for the technical support and implementation of exciting development projects with the following tasks:
Your Tasks
- Coordination of projects in the area of embedded software development for the product area Gateway and High Performance Computer (HPC)
- Technical management and control of an international software project team
- Planning of the software development
- Definition of measures to comply with the planning and interface of communication to internal and external project stakeholders
- Creation and Maintenance of project documentation (e.g., software development plan, software safety plan, software release documentation, status reports, etc.)
- Support of the overall project manager, deadline tracking, status meetings
Your Profile
- Completed studies in engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the field of software development
- Experience in project management methods and tools
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Confident handling of MS Office programs
- Very good experience in programming
- Sound knowledge of C/C++
- Very good command of Elektrobit and Vector tools
- Experience in communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.) desirable
- Ability to solve problems, customer orientation and independent working style
- Confident appearance and good communication skills
- Ability to formulate and visualize technical content concisely and comprehensibly
- Willingness to travel
