System Engineer – Driver Assistance Systems (m/f/d) – Frankfurt, Germany

To strengthen our team in Frankfurt, we are looking for a system engineer (m/f/diverse).

Your Tasks

  • Leading analysis, evaluation, and clarification of product related customer requirements specifications in collaboration with our internal specialist departments
  • Design and definition of system functions based on customer requirements and in accordance with internal functional / quality / robustness related requirements as well as external standards and regulations like functional safety (ISO 26262) and general safety regulation
  • Development and evaluation of system concepts
  • Specification of targeted system functions in form of technical system requirements
  • Alignment of requirements with the project team and customer and assignment of these requirements to the affected disciplines
  • Generation of status reports and metrics for tracking of the current status and progress over time
  • Tracking and assignment of work packages to affected responsible colleagues for completion of requirements and finalization of test specifications
  • Update of requirements as part of the defined change management process collaboration with an international team

Your Profile

  • Completed academic studies in one of the fields of system engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, robotics or similar
  • This position is suitable for young professionals
  • Good understanding of vehicle architectures and driver assistance functions
  • Good understanding of software on electronic control units
  • Experience in definition of system requirements is an advantage
  • Experience in development of driver assistance systems is an advantage
  • Experience with requirements tools like DOORS is an advantage
  • Fluent German and English language skills (product specific vocabulary is not a precondition)
  • Strong interest in understanding and specifying electronic control units and their functionalities
  • Approaching tasks in a structured and self-dependent manner
  • Focus on goal-oriented solutions
  • Good communication skills and passion for working in teams
