Continental Engineering Services is looking for a Finance Assistant to join a collaborative team based in either our Lichfield or Burgess Hill location. We can provide valuable and practical hands-on experience and training in a fast and growing R&D facility. The company is keen to support someone who is passionate about Finance & Accounting and developing their Finance career.
Your Tasks
- Supporting in Project costing for new business
- Processing Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger invoicing
- Maintaining information reports including cost centre reporting and analysis
- Preparing Financial reports including P&L & Balance Sheets
- Assisting in the Month End closing account activities
- Helping the team with Budgets and Forecasting
- Proving support in ad hoc exercises and projects
Your Profile
- A Level or higher qualification in a relevant field such as Business, Finance or Accounting
- Industry experience in finance and controlling is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Willingness to work in a team and flexible to support others
